Sole Bar + Bottle is expected to open in April at 101 Northampton St., near the Free Bridge. The under-construction space previously housed two storefronts, a hair salon and jewelry shop.

Building owner Peter Georgoutsos, who’s already refurbished the upstairs apartments, is handling a bulk of the renovations, which includes a new arched interior connection, Fay said.

On one side, there will be tables and a 40-foot-long bar serving about 10 draft beers, state-made wine and spirits and possibly nitro coffee, Fay said.

The other side will house a bottle shop, where customers can refill growlers and buy Sole beer in bottles and cans.

There won’t be a kitchen, but the company is looking to offer food by partnering with More Than Q at the Easton Public Market, Fay said.
